Parental Support

We see every challenge as an opportunity, and this initiative helps us ensure that our partners are better prepared to manage the unique situations they find themselves in. We are invested in an innovative approach that empowers our community and delivers the support they need, when they need it.

Family Strengthening Partnership

Key Services for High Risk Families

A public-private partnership and a framework to deliver key services to high-risk families. The FSP uses an integrated approach which supports and improves protective factors for family members. FSP services include home visiting, intensive care management and information and referral. Other services linked to the FSP include substance abuse treatment and homeless prevention services. These services are organized and monitored by a team of professionals and delivered at eight different Family Resource Center sites throughout the County, with home visits and service delivery as appropriate to the circumstances and needs of different families. For further information, contact Susan Ferdinandi at sferdinandi@childnet.org

Parent Leadership Training Institute

Most of our efforts pertaining to this program involve studying new approaches and developing innovative ways to implement them. We evaluate our success in this field by gathering qualitative and quantitative data, and using that information to measure shifts and changes from our baseline measurements.
